Seniors Ace Final Home Victory

Serenity Greathouse, Writer

The Diamond High School Volleyball seniors have played their final game of the regular season. The volleyball team has a total of nine seniors, and on October 17 they fought against the College Heights Lady Cougars for one last victory. During the first set the Cats fell to the Cougars 18-25, but they won the next three sets clutching the victory. A few of them have had very impressive stats from their varsity career. Specifically, the libero, Emilee Shallenburger, has had over 1,000 digs in high school. Also, one of the seniors who has been injured, Ashlyn Daniel, got the chance to serve the game opener. Overall, it was an amazing way for the seniors to end their high school volleyball career.
