New NHS Members

Students that have met the criteria to be a member of the Diamond Chapter of National Honors Society were given a letter with information about how to take the next step to inductions. The students will need to write a character essay, have attended at least one semester at Diamond High School, and have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 out of 4.0. Once this is complete, the faculty council will take a vote as shall the chapter advisor. Inductions are held once a year in the spring and new members are expected to be present at monthly chapter meetings and give back to the community using scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Members will have the chance to go to State the following year and compete against other schools with a scrap book made by the Historian of each chapter. If you would like to know more information about NHS or inductions please see Ms. Gollhofer or the 2020-2021 chapter president Grace Irwin.
