Tuesday, November 3rd, 2020 was Election Day in the United States and the 59th quadrennial president election. The two main candidates for the election are current President Donald Trump, republican, and former vice president Joe Biden, democratic. Other candidates include Kanye West, Jo Jorgensen, and Howie Hawkins. More than 78 million Americans have voted early, either in person or by mail. To win, a presidential candidate must win 270 electoral votes. However, due to COVID-19, votes are still being counted, causing the election to go on longer. And since the votes for some states are still being counted, causing Nevada, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia to still be undecided. Currently, President Trump has 214 votes, while former vice president Biden has 264 votes. Biden has won over 4 states that Trump won in the 2016 election, being Arizona, Nebraska, Michigan, and Wisconsin.

But the President has not been officially chosen yet. We will be keeping this article updated throughout the remainder of the election.
