DECA

DECA

Wesley Roughton and Monica Harter

DECA stands for Distributive Education Clubs of America. For those of you who may not understand what that means, DECA is a business and marketing organization to apply what they learn in the class to the actual world. Mrs. Dallas is the new supervisor for DECA this year. She has never been the supervisor of DECA before but when she was in school, Mrs. Dallas won to 25% internationally in a competition, so she knows what it takes to win. Students can get involved in this organization by simply taking a business or marketing class, or if students have already taken one of those classes, they will be welcome to join the organization. DECA meets the first Wednesday of every month in Wildcat Time. They plan to attend business competitions for our district and state. They may also go to Silver Dollar City depending on Covid-19. Mrs. Dallas is looking forward to take DECA farther than they went last year.
