Volleyball season is back Wildcats!

The varsity volleyball team officially started their 2019 season at the jamboree in McDonald County on Tuesday, August 28th. They were able to defeat the Monett Cubs but fell just short of McDonald County and Seneca. Even though they lost two matches, they kept the crowd at their feet and the stands cheering with many great plays.

Hadyn Russow (12) led the team last night with a total of six kills and two aces. Savannah Divine (12) killed it with three aces, one kill, and one block. Emily Valdez (12) was able to successfully block two balls. Beside her for those blocks were Savannah Divine and Loran Atnip (12). Jae Cowen (12), Loran Atnip, and Emily Valdez were each able to score points for their team with successful kills as well. Not only were there many great kills but also a countless number of amazing digs from back row and beautiful assists made by the setters. Great way to start the year Wildcats! Good luck for the season ahead of you!
