Michael Frisbie is a junior at Diamond High School. Frisbie has been involved in band since sixth grade, marching band since eighth grade, and jazz band since eighth grade. The instruments he plays is the trumpet and guitar. Michael has been to all district jazz two years now. He had a set number of songs which you can get whenever you want, rehearse them, and in November, he told us is when he did the audition. In districts, they only take one guitarist so Frisbie was in luck! Once he did the blind audition, he was the one selected and that meant he was able to make the choice to go to all state. Unfortunately, Micheal didn’t make it to that point this time around. Other activities that he is a part of are both DECA and Speech and Debate. Another recent accomplishment is that he got second at district DECA and is moving on to the state level this March.
